I agree totally.  But all the donations and ticket buying won't help anything over then next 2-4 weeks as decisions are made.

You can't underestimate how important this is for Harlan.  It's job 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D all the way down to job Z.  He and Judy should be working the phones and contacts 10+ hours a day right now.  Every thing else can wait. 

If getting into the B12 is your measurement of success/failure for an AD then blame the ones who couldn't get a football program started under their watch. We are the youngest football program of all those supposedly being considered .... we have accomplished less in football than all those supposedly being considered ... and because of those two things, we have a smaller college football footprint than any of those others. Other programs at least have college hoops brands to dress them up a little bit. You can hold your breath, stomp your feet, roll around on the floor crying until you're blue in face because you WANT to be in a P5 but bottom line is that there is no real compelling case to make that we SHOULD be in one. Having said that, doesn't mean we definitely won't get an invite, we didn't have a real compelling case when the BE invite came, but if we don't get one, Harlan's the last guy that should be held responsible .... barring some extraordinary evidence like he turned an invite down.

Big 12 meetings over. My takeaway: Expansion likely, decision unlikely at late May meetings, but everyone understands status quo untenable.

If he hears from enough USF fans/alumni maybe we'll hear something more than crickets as to what is being done.  I don't see any harm in making voices hear.

But, guess it's a dumb idea.  Best to sit back, do nothing, and just wish and hope.
