@ThePlayoffGuru why are UCF and USF so low? Recent struggles in football?

@RealJLord both lacking brand name and passionate following. Recruiting and TV markets keep them in the game, though

" Rutgers, which mainly competes for the title of America’s worst-run athletic program. "

But, it's all about football?

Exactly .... People who think we haven't been invited mainly because of the state of our football program are de-lusional.

How well they are doing now in the Big 10 has nothing to do with realignmnet. They were one of the better programs in the Big East in an amazing market. They were a mid/upper tier team in the BE when realignment was happening THEN. Of course football matters for us right now. Get better at football, get more fans, donors, perception improves, etc...It matters, along with many other things.

Win/Loss no, but poor season ticket sales and attendance, along with a small donor base are major factors, per Mark Harlan!

At the time of all the movement, we were averaging 44K-50K for football, season tix probably twice what they are now. Small donor base has been a problem since the beginning.

If Mark Harlan! says those things are major factors now, great, but they all weren't what was keeping us out previously ...
