Dodd...he's never been much of a fan of USF or the old BE teams in general. No surprise.

Based on his take it looks like expansion of any kind will take a lot of wheeling and dealing and even that may not be enough. I am starting to wonder if OU is going to simply say "good-bye" soon?

If Texas and ok bolt, what happens to the Big12? Disintegration? Become the Little 8? Does the AAC move up? Who gets to keep the refugees from that scenario? Does Trump try to deport them? Much conjecture we have, answer we have not.

Right now I'm thinking ESPN forces a big 12 breakup. The texahoma 4 (big public schools) will go to the pac-12 or sec. Then two other schools (kansas? Tcu? Baylor?) get a b1g lifeboat. The other 6 schools get a paycut. That's saving ESPN 110M a year or so, which gives them a chance to breath.

Can someone explain the focus on UCONN? I just don't get it. I know this the same issue as Rutgers and tv viewers but no one will watch. This is NFL territory. Further, you are creating another island team. Last, their football program is bad. I know basketball is "good" but do you expand based on basketball? No! If USF should lose out to UCONN this would be unforgivable toward the USF Athletics and the administration. Somehow, I think UCONN is nothing more than media conjecture.
