Yep. They have a rule named for him. BJ Daniels is a good example. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't count as a basketball scholarship because he was on the football roster.

Interesting article about Nebby losing AAU status.  Syracuse also voluntarily left the AAU the same year.

Yes? Part of the reason Nebraska was offered was because they were an AAU school. The Big 10 has never said it's mandatory for it's members, but in Nebraska's case, it was part of their appeal.
