Agreed. Don't see the other conferences allowing the Big 12 to stick around much longer.

The PAC12, Big12, and ACC are all in the same boat.  Only the SEC and B1G are in the upper tier of the P5

SEC schools got 31+ M this last year., more next year. Up from 20M  in 2014 IIRC.  They are close to that 35M mark, may exceed it next year.

If they added UT and OU, I am sure a  new round of talks would kick in.

The B12 knows who its pillars are. They'll surely shake hands with the devil to keep UT & OU in the conference, even if it takes them to the brink of folding.
