For me, the new interface remembers which thread you begin typing, including when you quote.  So if I quote but then get disgusted at others' or my own stupidity and stop to back out (this happens often), the site remembers when I come back to the same thread to reply a week later.  I'm no interwebz guru, but that indicates to me that this version uses cookies a lot more than the old, and BD's security settings aren't allowing it to use cookies.  Best guess, at least!

Things are shifting rapidly. I think the fact the ACC voted no coupled with a bleeding ESPN might be telling. In the grand scheme of things whether they go to a P4 scheme and consolidate or not, seems like USF's college football fate has a timer of a few years and even if this year is indicative of a brighter W-L column, it may have a smaller impact in the decision making process than it has in the past because of the money landscape.

If USF can win big, drum up local support, put eyes on the screen and butts in the seat at 2007ish levels over the next several years, there might be an outside shot that the "potential" revenue could be attractive to a power conference and importantly a broadcast company, due to the sheer size of the university...but 'difficult to see the future is...clouded by the dark side'

The ocs is not keeping us out. Going on a 4 year Bowl less streak at a critical time is what has killed us. We can not afford anymore losing seasons for the next 5 years if we are going to be considered for a slot in the P5

I beg to differ, sir! It is not having an OCS that is hurting attendance, remember?? Harlan has stated that USF needs more fan support before even being considered.
