Realignment may yet come to pass.

If OKL doesn't get what they want they will leave.  B1G or SEC

That would be their threat yes. It may just be chatter as the B1G or SEC would welcome them in at any time. So either they get what they want or they can chose a landing spot.

If this is the actual wording of the proposal ...

The full resolutions of the championship deregulation proposal are as follows:

One conference championship football game conducted in either of the following ways:

I) A game between division champions of a member conference that is divided into two divisions (as equally balanced as possible), each of which conducts round-robin, regular-season competition among the members of that division; or,

II) A game between the top two teams in the conference standings following a full round-robin regular-season schedule of competition among all members of the conference.”

Link

... it does have a little more definitive description of the two teams to play than I first thought in the "top two teams in the conference standings".

You are gonna see more realignment talk when the tv contracts are up for renewal. Fox wants Big 12 to look at the Florida market so we shall see if they listen.

One thing to keep in mind, last year Jose tended to go small against UConn, putting his best scoring threats on the floor, which meant Jenkins was playing the 5. Weber is also banged up. So, Jesperson might gain time at the 4, but I am not sure she can play the 5 against UConn.

When Jenkins is playing the 4 and gets hurt, plug in Jesperson and keep going.

When Jenkins is playing the 5 and gets hurt, what do you do? It isn't easy.

I thought Cashin played a good game yesterday. Seemed to be fairly aggressive...

The reply box is still going nuts...

Anyway, my question is, does or can Disney allow ESPN to continue with their open checkbook? And can CBS compete if they do?

Because I don't know how to stop it when it happens. I clicked on the reply box and it jumped all the way back to that. It was in th wrong place the first time it popped up.

I think Fox and NBC would be stronger competitors than CBS
