In a nutshell he said that they, USF, know what needs to be done and are working on it. He then said that the  #1  thing is selling more season tickets to football. The Big 12 will not take a school with 15,000 butts in the seats at games.

One thing for sure, WVU and TCU BOTH could fill their seats. Strong fan support for their markets. They also won a lot (TCU being the better deal).

Most of us here are at the games, but we should be the ones that recruit new season ticket holders.  This is where we can use the "way too early" ranking of #25 as a carrot to get friends/family/coworkers to get their deposit in now.

Also, 5% of our US News ranking is based on "alumni participation".  This means giving.  It doesn't matter how much you give, but give SOMETHING:  $10, $25, $1000, it doesn't matter.

Our coaches, players, and administration control whether we win, but we can do our part by getting people to the games and helping to make our school attractive to prospective students so that we can be even more selective than we are.  AAU membership is still our goal and that will do more to set us apart from other expansion candidates.

So I guess that mean UConn isn't going to the B12...
