If P5 is all about keeping G5 out of the money, they should not be able to use teams they see as inferior to boost their record.

Obviously, only the games that the AAC wins matter.  We can find excuses for the losses.

Lots of heavy chatter on the innerwebz that the B12 doesn't have the votes to win the amendment and has been having high level discussions about who to add.  Cincy and UConn or Cincy and Houston.  Betting money says UConn over Houston.

****, we really need to hope they have the votes. If expansion happens now and we are not included we may not see USF in a P5 conference in our lifetime (and we get pushed to second tier stays). That being said, UCONN going to the Big12 is a  laughable proposition.

They may be taking uconn for basketball strength.  Not so laughable.

Basketball does not pay the bills. It is self supporting, nothing more. UCONN would be an island just like WVU. No way UCONN goes to big12.
