The "record" of a team has nothing to do with anything, it's the ranking number that the playoff committee gives you that matters.  I guess I don't understand want you are asking.  If Bama was 6-6 the playoff committee could still rank them higher than 12-0 USF.  Not saying they would, but the records have nothing to do with the selection criteria

I don't think this has anything to do with a CCG.  I think he's saying it is just something the B12 will have to do as a result of 10 teams in the conference instead of 12.

I wasn't commenting on an additional OOC game.  Don't remember who suggested it.  I was just trying to clarify what is being voted on

But they won't. They've been playing 9 conference games, 3 ooc games for several years now as a 10 team conference. I don't see them changing that even if they have to go to 5 team divisions .... at least I'd hope they wouldn't change it.

And not that I don't trust you or anything but is there a succinct breakdown somewhere on the Internet on what specifically is going to be voted on in Jan .... or has it even been decided on what exactly the vote's to be on.

In reference to your "#31 ranked G5 Champion" and the playoffs in an 8 team system. Obviously ANY scenario is possible, but having the highest rated G5 should never be a problem.
