I agree that it holds the same validity as any other article. 

I can see where Cincy and BYU would be included in any conversation.  I would really love to understand the reasons why USF or a UCF/USF combo would not be considered.  The region, the schools, the tv markets and recruiting hold so much potential. Not just for the present, but for continued future potential growth.

It is a great question. I think it could be answered with another question. If USF was playing Kansas State and the Gators had a game at the same time, who would get the most viewers? The same would be true for FSU. Would fans/alumni of these teams watch USF in Tampa, Orlando, or the state in general?

Article doesnt address the issue of repeating the same problem with adding Byu geographically theyll have another school on an island.  They shouldnt be a full member.  They should look east for members and have a relationship like the aac has with ND.

UCF has chain link fence around the interior of the aluminum can stadium. That's probably why.

The same thing could be said about Cinci, having Ohio State nearby. Irrelevant point in my opinion.

You are correct and that is why the Big12 will get two divisions with 5 teams and there will be NO expansion. The only way it occurs is if Texas and Oklahoma decide to leave and a landslide takes place.

This is how I would prefer it actually.  We need to aspire to be the Boise St of the east and win games and pack the stadium.  

If the Big 12 invites us now (or anyone) I think it shoots off the starting gun of the departure of Texas and whomever they want to take with them.

Let's be patient and dominate this league for a while.  Our winning culture took a hit for a few years and we need to reestablish it.
