Not surprising. I am going to assume that this fella has no pull.... but, he hit on the one thing we will always have. The biggest market available in Florida.... Think Rutgers.

He looks 16 years old, lol.

Looks like unf is getting a foosball team and going to the B12..... Who know?

Yeah, but we all know that Jacksonville number is off. You can also say "Jacksonville is the biggest city in the U.S.!" and while it's technically correct, everyone knows that's not what we are talking about here. (Plus there's no such thing as a UNF fan... heh.)

Their population is so large because of their square mileage, includes most if not all of the county.

Which is the exact same pull that every other media source that's been cited in these 400 + pages has ...

Okay. Lots of ways to define areas in which to count people. Can't link right now for some reason but according to Nielsen, looks like Tampa Bay has more eyeballs on TV than Orlando or Miami.

I'm sure that's at least the 4th time that's been said on this thread.

The point of bringing up the population was to show that Tampa and Orlando are essentially growing together into a single population center.  If I was more proficient at posting tables I would show ones that have 4/7 of the highest population density counties in the entire state right along I4, for example.  The growth projection for both is impressive; and the 4 year growth rate (2010-2014) shows it...Orlando 7.4% growth and Tampa 3.8% growth.  Yes, Tampa is still the bigger city, no one is arguing otherwise.

After combing through all the Census figures, Jax definitely screws things up with their giant land mass.  They have 8 times the area that Orlando has, for example...though it appears Orlando is really small area-wise, roughly the same footprint as Knoxville, tn.
