2. UCF/USF  (worried one but hoping both get the invite) ( makes sense to me to add both so Big 12 teams have a Florida Road game every season to tap into the FLa market).( Lots of potential due to size of both schools, which should result in more fans , donors ect.... over the shortest time frame) and FLA recruiting.

Even if we still sucked I'd rather pay to watch us lose to the likes of UT, OU, WVU, etc., than lose to ECU, Temple, UConn, etc. I think a lot of people would agree and that ticket sales would shoot up regardless of our W/L record.

You guys are so full of it.  Ticket sales would go up, some by USF fans and a lot from casual and visiting fans.  Constant losing, regardless of the opponent would equate to a loss of USF fans in the stadium.  Overall the ticket sales might be higher but that would be from visiting fans.

There are lots of holes in your logic Dan. How anyone can simply discount TV ratings as being considered boggles my mind. You keep reaching for extreme cases and discount the obvious.

I'd rather go 6-6 in the Big12 than 9-3 in AAC. Every year in the P5 is another chance to make the Natty Champ playoffs. Every year in the G5 is another chance to play in the Bahamas Bowl.

Win where we are, then we can reasonably talk about winning/losing where we could be.

But in another thread we were showing that last FSU game as one of our top attended games. It was at least 50% FSU fans. Maybe some opposing fans' money is nice while we get our act together.

Remember the Yankees aka WVU?

I don't know where you were sitting, but I think 50% is a bit of an exaggeration.

Front row, so I could only see the other side of the stadium. Maybe you are right :P

This thread reminds me of an ancient bible proverb:

As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly.

This thread reminds me of the morning after taco night.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
