I'm worried the Big 12 takes UCF and UConn, that way they can claim the big rivalry game as part of their conference slate.

LOL that's funny. No one will ever care about UCF UCONN  USF rivalry that isn't a rivalry.

At least we are both in the same state. The TV guys could hype it up. There's no way anyone is going to believe a UCF UCONN rivalry exists.

Some people think that Oklahoma is laying the groundwork for a move out of the conference, with possible rumors to the Big 10 (with Texas).   Who knows?

The Big 10 and Pac 12 will not let Texas bring the Longhorn Network -- so Texas would have to give that up ... plus remember all P5 conferences have that "grant of rights" contract.

You mean like the TY guys hype up that Indiana-Purdue matchup ... or the big Wake Forest-Duke game that is "can't miss" every year... ooh... I know... Texas Tech and Baylor... how awesome is that matchup??

The ONE thing that could make some sense is for travel partners in the Olympic sports plus the added matchup that USF-UCF would have two major media markets served by the same cable company (Bright House ... which may be sold to Cox)... but even that doesn't really help because the Big 12 doesn't have a network (Thanks Texas) ...

 

The Big 12 has contracts with both Fox and ESPN... since Fox has two Florida sports channel, that would be one way to play this... USF and UCF could add more programming for Sunshine and Fox Sports Florida... more than the Rays, Marlins, Lightning, and Panthers.

 

 

That said, I don't think it happens any time soon. Despite TuxedoYoda's prognostications.

I only have one kidney left, and the one testicle doesn't sound so appealing.  Can I donate some fingernail clippings?

 

 

Dude, if a rival sorceror were to get a hold of your fingernail clippings or hair clippings he could perform some very bad magic on you. Stick with donating other body parts.
