Looks like COA has some work to do.

No urgency because we will be here and they know we will jump whenever they are ready.  They're going to let that petition play out and if it's granted, we're stuck for good.

One other question:  what the hell is the ACC doing on that petition for a a CCG with less than 12 teams????  WTF?

FSU and Miami...

Hmmm ... on there specifically to keep USF and UCF out?  Conspiracy theorist, are we?

Nope, to keep FSU and Miami out. Not now, they signed the GoR. But I would think there were some back room deals made when the thought was that FSU might jump.

Allowing the championship game with 10 teams seems counter intuitive to the GOR.  It gives the B12 the temporary fix until the GOR runs out.  Forcing the B12 to add schools and fill their roster would be the prudent plan.

What if it's time to repay a favor?

Some sobering TV ratings numbers for USF this season... If the B12 is going to sniff us, we need those ratings to rise! winning is a big part of that...

(in 2007 USF vs Rutgers was a 5.1) by comparison to looking at our numbers this season... (the games on fox are not monitored)

We're on about the same plane as Kansas, which isn't really a feather in our cap, but notable.  The 5.1 rating shows our potential, though that was a Thursday night game against no other competition.  At our worst form we match Kansas.  UCF wasn't really that far ahead of use in spite of their better year.

We'd get a boost in rating by virtue of playing a B12 schedule as well.  Though, our ratings against Wisconsin weren't great.

Wow, they have no interest in up and coming Florida programs, apparently.

USF needs to improve BIG TIME for 2015.

The AAC will eventually fall behind CUSA (once the next conference raiding takes place)....

The Big 12 is going to begin expansion... Cincinnati already met with the conference;

other programs are in talks. Hopefully, it isn't just UCF/Cincy.

How well can Harlan sell a product?

UCF isn't going to the Big 12. It's Cincy and BYU/Memphis. The Big 12 isn't interested in making islands so it most likely Cincy and Memphis to help West Virginia. It helps the FedEx is offering the Big 12 50 million to keep its current members from taking a pay cut till TV contract talks.

Sit back and enjoy the show and of course our bowl game against BYU

I love that they feel the need to have a travel partner for WV. Really? It's WV. Who cares. You got them because they're a good athletic department, not because they drive ratings in their huge media market.

That what they care about at this point and if the are getting a deal to add a team and still get the same amount of money they been getting then its not really hard. I am shocked at how this is playing out.
