Of course they don't want us... they want FSU... but if they can't get FSU then there is hope that they will settle for us.

WOW.. no he has not.

I'm not saying I think we'll be joining the B12, at all.

But McMurphy has been pretty out of the loop lately.

Dont take me for BMM lover becasue I couldnt stand him when he voered USF and was happy when TBO canned him.Other sports writers have been quoting him as a source on all of this breaking stuff since expansion began. He doesnt post about dramatic rumors or anything wild so maybe thats why you think he has been out of the loop, but if he reports something right now, its going to happen.

Unless it is FSU or Clemson I think they are fine where they are at. They are the smartest Conference out there by getting their teams to sign a Grant of Rights. Pretty stable with that in hand.

What BMM is saying shouldn't surprise anyone... We get 25k to an NFL stadium and are clearly the 4th school in Florida. The only way B12 adds USF is if their hand is forced.

It may be forced eventually if ACC gets GOR. In that case the B12 expansion options in big eastern markets is much smaller.

If UVA/VT makes a more after Maryland exits fees happen in next few months, then more movement, otherwise we are done for 5-7 (if Big 12 dissolves) or even 12 years when GOR end making 4-16 team conferences out of the "Big 5". Its either ACC or Big 12 that goes and one of either TCU,Iowa St or WF gets left out, imo.
