Wellp,at least we know the REAL reason for the "co"champeens. 'sall about da benjamins. From your link...

a more cynical, and perhaps more realistic, viewpoint is that coaches and ADs realized crowning two or three co-champions increased their chances of receiving conference championship bonuses by two or three times.

At leas we have more time to improve our product. Harlan and USF better use this time wisely and get everything turned around cause when expansion happens we might not get another crack at it.

Big 12 looking east....

To FSU and Clemson, paperwork being signed as we speak....

Texas and Oklahoma already told the Big 12 they were leaving for the Pac 12 ...

Pittsburg and syracuse are fully committed to the Big East, they aren't going anywhere...

Here is one more to fit right in....

USF and UCF will join big 12 in 2015, USF commitment to build OCS part of acceptance terms.

The more time we have to improve our reputation and product, the better. The best situation is we get back on our feet in a few years and are ready for that phone call.

Am I the only one who reads these tweets as meaning nothing and the Big 12 could still expand soon?

They're still rolling in huge piles of money, and would be rolling in less if they added teams.

Plus if the Big12's request to allow a 10 team conference to have a playoff game is approved, no need for expansion.

From espn

NCAA bylaws require teams to have a minimum of six teams in each division to stage a championship game. It is believed to be a non-controversial change to rescind that rule if the Big 12 wanted to stage such a game with 10 teams.
