I find it interesting that the ACC chose Louisville over UCONN. I thought that academics would win out on this one. Times are definitely changing.

I don't. Boston College had a say in this and they don't want UConn. Also, UConn's Men's Basketball program's recent issues with the NCAA and the APR would have raised some eyebrows with the ACC Presidents.

Apparently Duke and UNC are livid. They wanted UCONN for BB and Academics.

I wouldn't doubt it. Surprised at how much pull Boston College apparently has, which is pretty ironic, since I think they'd be a pretty viable candidate for the B1G.

BC doesn't have that much pull, UConn is a terrible market. Kentucky isn't a great market, but it's better than UConn.

Hopefully in the short term the B1G will continue to add ACC teams. We need panic in the ACC!

B1G will almost certainly NOT take FSU, who is the school we need to move to have any shot at getting out of the Big Least.

BC doesn't have that much pull, UConn is a terrible market. Kentucky isn't a great market, but it's better than UConn.

I think they have more pull than you realize.

Very much true. However, further raids into the ACC from the B1G could certainly drive the exodus of FSU and Clemson to the Big 12. Atleast that would be the hope.

I'm not saying I think we'll be joining the B12, at all.

But McMurphy has been pretty out of the loop lately.
