Our only chance is a combo package with ucf which is what the big 12 would have done anyway even if we didn't have this 4 year drought of bad football. The thing the big 12 has to ask themselves is if they take cincy and ucf what happens if one of those team are a complete bust and are not competitive. Wouldn't that look really bad if they think they will be Good and turn out to be really bad. This is why I think it will be a package of Usf/ucf or cincy/Memphis but I'm really hopeful for all 4 but it most likely will be only 2

ESPN and the other networks will tell b12 which schools to take (if any).

IMO, best case for usf is if networks conspire against b12 to subsidize pac12, sec and ACC poaching. In that case usf will join the b12 leftovers.

I simply don't see Texas and ou in the same conference as USF, ucf, Memphis or cincy.

Biggest question with ucf is what is their market value by themselves. I don't think it's much but a Usf/ucf package would be a better market value than just 1 school

Reading up on Bowlsby, the B12 commissioner... he is an idiot and failure of a commish.

When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must be considered:

• Championships won
• Strength of schedule
• Head-to-head competition (if it occurred)
• Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory)

 

EVERYBODY knew this had the potential to hurt the B12! From their own fans to fans of schools (like USF)  wanting to join the conference and using this as a good reason why they need to expand
