And it's Memphis and LA Tech going.

Guys, we will be ok.

I keep thinking of Kevin Bacon in Animal House telling everyone to remain calm.

Not surprised. Cincinnati an Memphis have the 3rd and 4th largest athletic department revenues, respectively, amongst non-P5 schools. This helps bridge the geographic gap to West Virginia and creates a championship game for the Big 12. UConn, USF and UCF remain on the outside.

Doug Woolard's legacy will be felt at USF for years, and possibly decades, to come.

Yep. P5 level facilities waiting on a conference.

If Big 10 does not it get 1 team to the playoffs for a few years then they expand. Right now that is not an issue with TCU looking good. Why would Big 10 split the pot 14 ways? TV $ do NOT increase with new team additions until the contract is up which is like 10 years

Not gonna happen. The Big 10 will be on it consistently. OSU would've been this year if not for very very bad luck with QB injuries

I doubt anything happens for at least a couple of more years. I think the powers that be will be analyze how this whole new playoff format and bowl system shakes out before any new changes occur.

Right now 2 bowl eligible teams from the Big 10 look like they will be left out of bowl games. There are already the possibility that a Big 12 team gets left out of the playoff system.

If these or any other of a number scenarios occurs, there is going to be a lot of ******** and moaning by real power brokers from a couple of the P5 conference.

Did anybody actually listen to that audio? It is one guy being told something from an anonymous source on a small radio station in Nashville. I think we can hold off with the pitchforks for a little bit.

You are right. I listened to the audio and it's a rumor, similar to a blog post. Nothing to see here. "These aren't the droits we're looking for. Move a long. Move along."

Harlan will selll this hard to get USF where it needs to be. Also, I am sure he will mention the future of an OCS to help all of us out. The OCS may be the key for USF to get an invite. I say USF should wait until they know where they will be before building. If USF lucks out and gets a P5 invite then we can spend more on OCS. If USF does not get an invite, then we can go for the cheaper and smaller OCS.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
