The Big 12 minus 2 is beating each other up this year, so this might prompt them to expand at the end of the season.

 

Plus, if FSU implodes and with them being the only ranked ACC team, something might happen with that league.

The Big 12 Beatdown is more intriguing for sure.  That falling domino would cause more controlled chaos than a typically weak ACC

TV markets will be the big factor once again when the TV contract renewals come up. Just dont see how ECU brings a good TV market for the BIG 12. 

 

They compete in the B12 consistently, they'll eventually own the NC football market. It'll take time, but NC is a dynamic state. Really growing fast..

 

They will never own the TV market in North Carolina, you have to keep basketball in mind as well. ECU will never have the market UNC does, especially in basketball.

If the big 12 is left out of the title games and are told they will be unless they get a conference championship, they will expand immediately. This would be our best chance. Only question would would they take 2 florida teams or just 1
