So what drives revenue... Ticket and merchandise sales? ok what drives that, winning? you don't say...

Guess we have come full circle again and know what we need to do.

One thing y'all haven't touched on about why Louisville was picked is that they gave notice to the Big East that they were leaving before they were offered by the ACC. They took a risk and were no longer subject to the 27 month wait all the other BE teams were subject to.

They gambled that there would be an immediate need for a team, risked ending back up in Conference USA, and won.

LOL.  There was zero "gamble".  First, Louisville was clearly next in line.  Second, what was the risk?  If they had not gotten an offer does anyone think the AAC would have kicked them out?  They were gambling with house money, as the AAC desperately needed Louisville for as long as the AAC could keep them.

Now if ECU or Temple had tried to "gamble" the same way, then I'd be impressed.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
