There is a strong chance, that in the next 4 - 5 years...

If USF's athletic changes make a positive impact (New AD, New [bB, FB, BaseB] coaches, better investments), our institution may be the BEST individual consideration to be recruited into the P5?

That's a serious question? And would the P5's newfound aggrandizement make a negative impact on this ever happening?

The B10 would love to take the Gators today, but they wouldn't take any other team in Florida until they achieve AAU status

So why wouldn't they take Miami? They have the resources to get AAU status very quickly if required and their academics are much better than Florida's.

Smaller private school compared to large public universities. Any conference would jump at the chance to get UF.

Go Bulls!

Cincy and UCF are a no brainier (of course Boise St. and UConn will be in the discussion).  Anyone that says otherwise is out of their mind and completely delusional.  Tampa school hasn't won squat on any level and attendance was around 10K by the end of last season.  UCF drew 19Kish during 1-AA days.

Where does UCF get the delusion they draw well?  UCF just barely sold out the South Freakin Carolina game last year, took until the week of gameday.  USF drew 50,000 for Kansas a few years back.  Only a super season this past season got UCF anywhere near sellouts.  UCF couldn't even sell out the stadium opener against Texas.

On this count,  UCF doesn't come close to touching USF.  Look up the records.

ACC teams are locked in with that agreement they all signed. It's not worth the money to get them out of the conference, it's a ridiculously high amount. And they're thugs.

Northwestern has had success recently in the B1G?

Not to mention, the whole "state of miami" thing. While it primarily refers to recruiting, fan support when the Canes are reasonably good is strong enough to justify inclusion. Add in that Florida generally has strong B1G transplants, and you could make a case that they would be a big boost to the B1G, especially because of how many eyeballs would be tuning into the Big Ten Network (in another large southern city).

Maryland voted against it, and left before it became official. They've got a pretty good case for keeping their TV money. We'll see, as it plays through the courts, FSU also had a good case, but stayed around, and is now stuck in the ACC.

FSU is in the ABSOLUTE best possible spot they could ever dream of being in.

A powerhouse school in a P5 conference that is much weaker than any other P5 conference.  And an academically prestigious one at that.

They would be fools to leave.
