Balls aren't a state either. Unless you want to say, "Lately, our football team has been in a state of balls."

Duh, its name for the 5 Ball brothers, Basket, Foot, Base, Left and Right.

NAVY wont be heading to the BIG 12 as their others sports are not up to par. BIG 12 will more than likely require full membership.

Cincy and UCF are a no brainier (of course Boise St. and UConn will be in the discussion).  Anyone that says otherwise is out of their mind and completely delusional.  Tampa school hasn't won squat on any level and attendance was around 10K by the end of last season.  UCF drew 19Kish during 1-AA days.

Which begs to ask, if UCF is so great, why did USF get the Big East invite and not UCF?

1) It was 10 years ago.

2) At the time, basketball was essentially the tiebreaker (I have no linkable source for this other than a good friend of mine was an assistant coach at UCF during this time period, though not for football).

So you are saying situations change. And since there isn't any realignment going on now, where schools are at now means diddly. Case closed.

UCF will be starting the season 0-2 and will never be mentioned again.

I think thats what everyone is saying. Especially anyone who remembers O'Leary begging the students to call themselves "Gator/Knights" and to please come to football games when UF and FSU games don't interfere.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
