Not trying to be a downer but the lose aspect of that situation is that the Big XII may not want to be seen as the conference with the second tier Florida schools. FSU, Miami, and UF's successes make us look more inferior than we are.

 

Which means they wouldn't expand at all ... They really can't add teams that don't fit the 2nd tier description unless they rob another P5 or possibly, BYU.

I just meant 2nd tier in Florida. Someone like Cincinnati or UConn isn't being overshadowed by multiple powerhouses in their state. Maybe I'm overthinking it but would the Big XII want to be the conference with USF and UCF while the ACC has Miami and FSU?

Interesting angle .... but I'm not sure if that would be enough a deal killer if they really wanted/needed to add two teams and everything else looked to be a plus for the 2 FL teams.

Cincy is overpowered by Ohio State. They are surrounded by them. UConn is overpowered by professional sports.

Just shows how much people get USF and UCF confused.

 

We really need to change both schools' names. Get away from the "directional" tag.

 

How about George Mercer Brooke University?

We should just take UTampa's name from them.

 

USF will be UT

UT will be RKU (Rich Kids University)

If re-alignment did take place, and the BIG 12 wanted to take 2 AAC teams...

 

 

which team would compliment USF best (besides UCF)...?

 

Cincinnati, UCONN? Houston? ECU!?
