To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around...

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

:stirpot:

----

I feel like, if the Big 12 really wanted to go east, they would pick up USF, UCONN, Cincy, and UCiF. Gives them teams across the east coast and Cincy, who is closer to a lot of the Big 10 schools.

UCONN offers a consistent attraction with mens and womens basketball- I believe UCONN would nearly instantly become the Big12 favorite.

USF/UCF offer the rich recruiting state of Florida, as well as a region (together) with practically the most* TV sets.

Cincy allows the Big 12 to get to 14 schools, a little cleaner than 13 schools, and also puts them right in the middle of a Big 10 area.

Yeah, how's that Iowa State thing working out?

Forgot about them

eh, the basketball team was actually pretty good this season. lmao.

There is ZERO benefit for us, to have UCF make it to a P5 conference.

[especially if we get left behind]

If success on field meant anything than why is Rutgers in the Big Ten and UCONN is not. This is why one really good season of football at UCF will not get them into the big 12. Plus UCF+USF>FSU if you look at it from the tv market standpoint. There are way more tv's in tampa and orlando than tallahassee. However if the Big 12 goes to 12 it will probably be us or ucf and either cincy or uconn

And most tune into FSU or Florida. What is important is who the tv's tune in for, not where they are located.

I would like to know if that would still hold true IF the Big 12 was regularly shown in some of the local markets vs. USF and that other team.
