Again, this is the Rumors and Tweets thread. He tweets a lot. If you go back and read my posts, I have included several times "If he is to be believed", or other caveats.

I never understand why it angers people to discuss rumors clearly labeled as rumors.

UVA to B1G, VT to SEC - This gives each conference a Virginia shared market, as long as both are "safe" they are ok as a state legis is concerned

Carolina schools are interesting - I believe UNC and Duke would want in same conference for basketball but I think UNC does not want left behind - NC State wants away from both of them, imo, and Who cares about Wake, I think UNC is B1G and NCState is SEC again for each conference gets a Virginia shared market. Duke and Wake gets left in the ACC/BE combo if this happens

The Virginia schools seem destined for different conferences, which is ok by them as long as they are top conferences.

I think ALOT of this is being fed through WVU to sling crap at ACC. Who benefits the most from getting eastern partners in Big 12, also with the schools right now in question are all tied closely with WVU - MD, FSU and even OSU. OSU (Bucknuts) is where most of the B1G news is coming from now, including that the B1G could go to 20 teams. SEC is slow and deliberate but will jump at chance of VT.

Right now WVU is on "Hillbilly island", kinda like USF was alone in Big East last few years. Getting eastern partners helps WVU in Big 12.
