If the money is right nobody is going to stop fsu etc from leaving.  Sorry.  Grant of rights is just paper.

I would think Cincy,Uconn and even a Houston would be on their list as well.  Although I wish Cincy and Uconn would get in the ACC some how.

$, TV, recruiting

 

USF+ UCF > FSU

Grant of rights is paper that would cause you to give all your TV money to the ACC for the next 12 years.  So I think that might stop them.  Plus why would they want to leave now?  They can win a title in the ACC in the travel for them in their fan base is way better in the ACC then it would be the BIG 12.

Below just a reason why FSU isn't leaving the ACC.  Least not for a little while.

 

 

The ACC announced  that its presidents have signed a Grant of Rights agreement through 2026-27. That means the conference now owns its 15 current and future members' television rights for the duration of that period, effectively blocking those schools from joining another conference (because what conference would add a school if it can't cash in on its television revenue)? The Big 12's own six-year Grant of Rights agreement reached in October 2011 (and since extended through 2025) greatly stabilized that then-tenuous conference, allowing it to add TCU and West Virginia and ink an eventual long-term deal with ESPN and FOX.

Um, the B12 wants USF. TuxedoYoda's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend retweeted this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who spoke to an athletic director at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

You need to understand that a UCF and USF deal is NEVER going to happen.

 

At this rate, UCF is in a position to leave us behind (and they will - if we keep trying to sell ourselves in conjuction with them).

 

We need to FOCUS on aggrandizing individually - and supporting ONLY our school.
