That is what I thought.

They can do it for a while with the cash stockpile from realignment. Something will need to change at some point though.

We now lie in bed with the likes Tulane and Tulsa waiting for the Big 5 to tell us what we get paid.  The amount of which is what the Big 5 decides it can live without.

 

 

I would have rather died a grisly death attempting independence than been euthanized by the unbalanced economics and limited access that exist in the rigged system the Big 5 set up for itself.

 

 

Everybody preached we'd get slaughtered monetarily and schedule wise as an independent.  WELL WE STILL STRUGGLE MONETARILY AND SCHEDULE-WISE IN THE AAC (Indiana just dropped us like a bad habit).

 

 

Simply put, this is uninspiring. . . . . . . where's the glory for my alma mater's athletics program in this crappy set up.
