To be honest. I would not want a MAC to to join. I think we are better off adding south or west. No point of giving USF another cold travel game up north. I would not mind to add Georgia State at this point. At least it will give USF another close conference foe.

I'm not so sure a MAC team would leave for the AAC at this point.

How many ranked teams has the MAC had this year? Who and when? Honestly don't know but folks are so down on being "trapped" in the AAC some of this all seems whiny to me. I'd rather be in the AAC long-term than the MAC. That's just me.

Do you read the polls? Northern Illinois is ranked 21/20, undefeated, and Ball State is on the cusp. That would be the same NI that went to a BCS bowl game (Orange Bowl) last year.

No need to be a d-bag. As it turns out, no, I don't follow the polls for MAC teams. I'm raising a family of six and managing a successful business. In my spare time I follow USF athletics. Why the animosity?

 

I don't follow them either, but they are pretty hard to miss, ranked around UCF and UL, if you follow AAC teams. Plus they are pretty huge news, continued in the news from last year when they outplayed FSU in the Orange Bowl for 3 quarters until mistakes killed them.

This year, undefeated, they are fighting BCS bias. They have become Boise St but are close enough to Chicago that they have a shot of moving to P5 if they keep it up.
