Here's an interesting rumor: Memphis has offered to pay the B12 $10 million and accept no revenues first 3 years for membership

 

 

if would take a coordinated plan on behalf of both schools

 

i dont see the leadership to get it done

 

they should have been working on this for a year already

 

memphis is smart and proactive

 

smazza would back channel a bit more

tv markets are not that relevant if they were big east would have survived

 

perception is everything

 

and our perception has been of incompetence for years

 

how can a school in the middle of best football talent be so bad for so long

I would think we are in discussions. Doesn't mean they will go anywhere or we will ever hear about them.

The left over BE schools are sitting on a nice pile of cash. Hope we are offering it up the P5 leagues.

To be fair, WVU isn't the team it was a few years ago.  They hit the B12 about the time they were trending downward anyway.  I think we may see a new coach there soon.

@kramdawgsean Big 12 should add Houston, Cin, BYU, USF, UCF. Maybe SMU if other TX would add a 2nd in state school.
