I saw someone ask him for a link to where he was getting his info and he said he received it mostly all through texts.

Gotcha. If his info was worth sharing, I wanted to pass it along.

Thanks!

had never bothered to actually read this guy's Twitter, but it's exactly as I thought. he's just rambling on to himself about a million different scenarios. he does have some insight into the big east meetings and big 12 stuff going on, but that is all through other journalists that are on premise at these things - he's merely taking these and flinging it to the wall.

I dont think they are pushing that yet but lose both of UConn and UL and possibly Cincy what is the point to keep football schools around when you can join with A10 schools and get a better product with less travel costs and possibly a better TV deal?

There are some things happening, according to the Twitter universe. Multiple sources reporting that the Big 10 is very close to going to 16 teams. Seems their idea is to have conference semi-final playoff games with a four division setup. The two extra games adding TV money. This idea is rolling around with other conferences able to expand to 15 (three pods) or 16 (four pods) as a way to make more money.

MHVer3 (or whatever his handle) does have interesting info. According to him, the ACC does not have the votes for a GOR (not suprising). Also, they can't decide on which team to invite (UConn or UL). The ACC meeting seems to have degenerated into a fingerpointing session. Meanwhile, it looks like BYU was ready to jump aboard the Big East before the Rutgers defection. Some discussion of Big East meetings happening today as well.

Meanwhile, according to he and Greg Swaim, the Big 12 seems ready to make some noise in the very near future. They are talking to TV about how adding teams could add to the bottom line. Miami is suddenly a player in this discussion, which is new info.
