Okay, I used to love checking in on this thread to hear the latest rumors.  Not so much this week as it has turned into a Florida geography lesson.  Who cares if Melbourne or Tampa are closer to Orlando?

From a marketing standpoint, it makes sense for the BIG 12 to take UCF and USF, the conf would play in FL at least 12 times a year

@theDudeofWV UCF n USF will be picked for Big 12. It will help recruiting. SEC thx to A&M is now in TX. Big12 will retaliate and get into FL

I once made it from Temple Terrace to Seaworld in 45mins. I was behind an Acura NSX leading the way and hauling it, but still.

Except for the little detail that Temple Terrace isn't in Tampa.  :D

That, and going at the same rate of speed you could make it to Melbourne from Orlando in like 35 minutes.

Now wait a minute. If you're talking going from 'Tampa' to 'Oralndo', doesn't that depend on your subjective assignment of where Tampa actually ends and Orlando actually begins? Or are you saying from city center of one to the city center of the other? The reason I ask is it takes me - obeying the posted speed limit - almost and hour and forty five minutes to drive from the office (Hillsborough Avenue @ Veterans Expressway) to Orlando (Exit 80 B, North Orange Blossom Trail ) during afternoon traffic.
