Selfishly would like to have USF in the ACC so I could see them here in NC.  Everything is a possibility when the NCAA blows up and we go D4.

I think the B1G would love to add a Florida school, but we would be a long shot. It is true that Judy has advanced us into a Carnegie Foundation Top Research University, and we have a published goal of working hard to attain AAU membership. UF won't leave the SEC or it would be the obvious choice. FSU and Miami are probably locked in to the ACC. Does that mean the B1G will not go into florida for now? Probably, but who knows?

If they do want to add a school in Florida, it could be interesting. I think of all the NCAA conference juggling that has gone on, Rutgers has made out better than anybody.

It's not quite the same.  USF's academic profile has increased significantly since 2003.  It's actually tangibly moving in the right direction.
