Precisely, what's the GUARANTEED payout?   Another lovely tweet from earlier today states they had no TV deal.

Fair question. However one can assume that after the current AAC contract runs out the next contract will be way less without SMU, UCF, Cincy, Houston, and even less so without Memphis, UTSA, and Tulane.

You have to assume that the new PAC compared to the new AAC will be a bigger payout if Memphis and Tulane jump.

Well currently the guaranteed payout is to not spend the rest of eternity in AAC hell playing with our CLT...

You don't have to assume anything.  Let's see what the market is for these teams/matchups.  It may be less than the old AAC too.

Remember, the best the old PAC12 could get was a subscriber-based deal from Apple and that was before they broke up.

If the PAC was really smart they would add all the service academies ( Air Force, Navy, and Army) and UNLV as well as USF, UTSA Memphis, Tulane, and ECU.

Could have East West division

West: WSU,OSU, Boise State, Fresno State, CSU,  UNLV, San Diego State, Air Force

East: USF, Tulane, ,Memphis, Army, Navy, ECU, UTSA, and one more

That would be palatable at least.

I think it’s fair to assume the new PAC will get more than the AAC in TV money. The problem is the buyout and potential long term commitment.

If Memphis and Tulane are leaving for the PAC it really puts us in a tough spot.

I hope the "commitment" is to not go to the PAC at this time.  We better not be signing some GOR or iron clad agreement to stay for the next 5 years.

This wouldn’t be the worst case scenario, so that’s good.

What does the P-E stand for?

If that's the case we better go hard after Air Force?
