Yeah, I'm starting to think our best bet is to stay in the AAC to win it and pad our resume with better OOC games. Preferably not top 8 teams with Heisman candidate QBs.

I wonder what recruits would prefer.

Well Miami blows every year except now.  Hilariously bad timing.

USF must go to the PAC if offered with Memphis and Tulane. We have no choice.

I agree. The ACC remains a long shot, and will still be there if they show any interest.

I am not mad about tonight since the gap has become so wide. But at the same time we need to win these type of games if we want to get into the ACC, and we are so far removed from winning these games.

Our program needs any win it can get, the PAC would provide that.

That was an embarrassment on a national stage.

We should be scheduling the NC State and George Tech, not 2-for-1s with Alabamas and Floridas... Who cares if you play these powerhouses if they just work you.

Not really. We actually kinda dominated the first half. By the time the wheels fell off, ESPN changed to a different game lol.

i mean theyre 6-1 against us.

if they blow every year except now wtf does that say about us?? 🫠

this game is full of guys that played with & against eachother since high school, middle school, pop warner. Miami is going to be competitive with us even on years theyre ass. & even on years theyre ass they will still have more 5 & 4 star talent at every position than we do. thats the difference between the ACC & AAC.

USF is still a team with maybe 2 or 3 skill guys on each side of the ball that would crack a solid P4 roster.

it really takes all the stars to align for a G5 Florida school to beat one of the Big 3. the fact that we’ve done it twice is amazing, but both of those wins came as member of the Big East when the gap wasnt quite as wide.

i dont see the new PAC getting an auto-bid to the playoff so they will be in the same position as the AAC champion.

the playoff will be 4-5 SEC teams, 3-4 B1G teams, 2-3 ACC teams, 2-3 B12 teams & 1 G5 team, occasionally 2.

if the PAC doesnt have auto bid & the GOR is prohibitive we will be locking ourselves into a G5 conference for nothing.

If you remember the one game we won, we were incredibly fortunate.  Miami had two 1st and  goals at the one and got no points.  Terrell McClain’s  submarine defensive stand was epic and they fumbled out of the end zone.  They were bad and on the cusp of firing Randy and we still needed OT.  The gap is getting larger with no end in sight.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
