ESPN has a look in option for the AAC contract in 2026 (same as the one for ACC in 2025)... I have to think if Tulane, Memphis, and UTSA ... the replacements will be from the MWC or possibly Sun Belt - so ESPN will probably look to trim the payments.  (I think C-USA has a GOR to stop teams from leaving)

So, as far as I read the look-in option is something multiple parties have to agree to and is something mutually beneficial. I'm don't know much about these types of contracts, so we think during this look-in period they can say we are renegotiating the contract whether any of the AAC teams like it or not?

Whatever happens independence would not be a good option in my opinion. If we are left behind and we have to replace teams than so be it. Have to be smarter though this time around and add the right teams. Toledo, Marshall, Air Force, Coastal Carolina, Norther Illinois, Ohio, Liberty, WKU, Southern Miss and Appalachian State probably would merit consideration.

I am secretly hoping for the PAC though

There are no "right" teams to add at this point, all are homogeneous ............. except for us.
