The AAC sucks because of the horrible additions the past commissioner made. We cannot stay in this conference if Memphis and Tulane want to leave. Charlotte, Rice, Tulsa, Temple

How do two programs as non-descript as Washington State and Oregon State warrant this? Just because they own the three letters PAC? Why didn’t the Mountain West just add them and be done with it?

They have $245 million reasons why they warrant this.  That is the Pac 12 warchest left behind by the 10 schools that left... They are using more than $100M to pay the MW exit fees for the 4 they have poached.

Agreed... bu I am sure @Dave_Glaser will say that it makes more sense to be in a conference with FAU, FIU (replacement team), ECU, Charlotte, App State (replacement team) than it does to be in a conference with Fresno, Boise, San Diego . . .

Want a “best of the rest” conference that makes sense? Give me USF, UConn, Tulane, Memphis, maybe Temple and Navy - bust Oviedo, West Virginia and Cincy out of the Big 12 for a start and make me the commish.

Oviedo, WVU and Cincy are locked in the Big 12 GOR. UCONN isnt leaving the BE for an AAC like conference. Temple stinks. I doubt Navy wants any part of the travel required for the PAC.

That leaves USF, Tulane and Memphis to join the best of the rest Pac 6.
