For laughs:

Serious question:  Do we get the PAC12 network in our neck of the woods?

Per a search:

The Pac-12 Networks shut down on June 30, 2024 at midnight PT

It doesn’t matter if you don’t win your conf.  We could have beat Bama and Miami but if we don’t win the AAC championship we don’t get in, unless as 7 at large bids

Correct but say we win the new pac conference  and lose 3 total games one two blue blood and two conference games . Liberty goes undefeated in Cusa they are getting in.

That  the issue. USF joining another g5 conference is just going to another form of purgatory.

All group of five conferences aren't created equal. For example the AAC five years ago with U Conn , Houston, Cincy, UCF, SMU was a totally different and better conference than the AAC today,

The AAC will be a different conference as well minus Tulane, Memphis, and UTSA ( assuming they leave).

Over the years the AAC was able to lock up up many BCS bids because many of the best group of five schools were bunched together in the AAC.

There is an opportunity to do the same in the PAC.
