I concur with everything you said here. Also, I honestly would prefer that PAC over the Big 12. Not saying that it would be perceived as a better conference by anybody, just that the current Big 12 is just... for lack of a better word: ick. a bunch of religious zealots, flyover country, and the knats. no thanks.

I would love to be in a smaller conference (10-12 teams) that just has good parity and programs that actually really care about bettering themselves. The rivalries that form would be great.

Yes I agree. Think ESPN can do something in 2026 but it will be part of the AAC deal too. Maybe they figure out a way to get rid of dead weight. NAVY & ARMY are big assets to have imo.

Religious zeolots? They have 3 schools that are Christian and two of them party like rock stars.  BYU is a religious zeolot however a strong program.  The Big 12 has better football and the PAC isn’t even close.   If you are scared of c then that’s on you.  However doubt we are invited so a moot point.

3 out of 16 schools are Christian, are you afraid you may melt?  don’t worry about having to deal with c, they have moved on, we got FAU and Charlotte, at least they don’t have Christianity, we got that going for us.
