If the PAC takes Memphis, Tulane, UTSA, and/or USF there would be no benefit to them merging with the AAC whatsoever.

You have to remember that these conferences are money makers and careers. If there was a merger you would have redundancy at every position in the conference office. No conference leader is going to agree to a merger that costs them and, to a lesser extent, "their peoples" jobs.

They would need money from a tv deal. Without that none of those schools are going to leave the AAC per reports

Yeah sounds good and all but none of that is going to happen with money and tv deals. Nobody is watching late west coast games. That is just reality.

ACC may be back on offense. I mentioned this before that we may eventually see Utah jump from big 12 since they are not locked in

Almost sounds like a potential take on being regulated in premier league soccer. Depending on performance, being regulated to a certain financial tier within that conference. I would imagine "merit based" would be wins and tv audience.

I took his Tweet as more of a PSA, "Hey, you dumbasses, there is an Unfollow button as well as a Follow one."

You can post redundant stupid **** and then tell everyone to ignore it if they don’t agree but that is simply not the way the world works.  If you don’t want to be criticized then either stop posting trash or stop posting, **** his PSA.

Has anyone noticed that it seems like some posts are duplicated? Or am I just scrolling through the same page twice?

It's not just you. When you post something it should stop ...

Brad's aware but I think stumped by it.

This is pretty simple. If Memphis and Tulane go, USF should absolutely go to PAC. I don't care what the payout/TV deal is.

My bad, had no idea he had a gun to people's heads to make them read his Tweets ....... that's horrible.

You are using a strawman argument here. The fact of the matter is that the best programs from the AAC have all moved on. If Memphis and Tulane were to leave as well the new PAC isn't the MWC 2.0. If you want to disparage it to make yourself feel better if USF gets left behind, have at it. Taking the top teams from two leagues does not leave the remnants in a better position. There is no amount of rationalizing or mental gymnastics that changes that fact. I will say that losing Tulane, Memphis, and UTSA won't be as painful as losing SMU, Houston, Cincy, UCF, and UCONN, but it would still put USF in a worse position than we currently are, which seems to be the only constant in all of this conference realignment.

Give up, some simply like to troll and are attention starved so resort to stupid measures, the schtick is played.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
