Not really since Philadelphia, Wichita State, Rice, Charlotte aren't particularly close to us either. Also the American wants to add Air Force. That's in Colorado i believe. The AAC already brands itself as a national conference. The PAC with us, Tulane, and Memphis and perhaps others would be a national conference as well

At least we would get something out of playing Boise State, Colorado State, San Diego State, WSU,OSU since those are better in more sports than just football.

I can't come up with one good thing the aac has done for usf football. The pac conference seems dead on arrival unless there is double to triple the money guaranteed , no Gor and,  the buyout should be cheap . If the pac offered usf something positive.then it would be better,  but I just don't see tv money being more than aac and enough to make the travel cost worth it. At the end of the day they both would be two conferences that are not power conferences and I want to get to a power conference again. The should goal should be to win your way out of g5 into a power conference.

Not gonna lie, I check this forum a couple times a week in hopes that I will find a comment with true inside information on USF to the P4.

Has anyone looked into what is involved in flying and then driving to Washington State University? It's in the middle of nowhere. 

This isn't flying to Dallas or San Antonio from Tampa with big international airports. 

For a football team, once every maybe 4 years, probably not a big deal. But men's basketball and baseball every year?
