CCS was not his hire but the CJS hire was bad enough that it would have cost more than 1/2 the AD’s their job.  He will always have the stigma of hiring the worst CFB coach in history, that is utterly amazing that we are the ones that had to witness that train wreck.

CCS won more fbs games in his worst year than CJS won ever did in 3 seasons. CCS sucked toward the ends, but he is  exponentially better than the worst  modern FBS coach of all time.

The league ultimately agreed to institute a new revenue-sharing policy dubbed "success initiatives" that would reward programs that made bowl games, the College Football Playoff or the NCAA men's and women's basketball tournament with a higher share of postseason revenue, but at the time, ADs were not interested in any plan that included brand valuation or television ratings, too.

Within the proposal put forth by Clemson and Florida State, the term of the grant of rights would also be reduced -- potentially as early as 2030 -- to better fall in line with the expiration of TV deals in the Big 12 and Big Ten.

We spoke with a dozen people involved in the discussions and no one sees an easy move, making it hard to predict realignment resolution.

He hired him and extended him for one fbs win in two seasons. There is no way to polish that turd. He got  jeff  scott more money by signing him to an extension. You don't hire and extend a guy moving the program backwards . Until MK gets usf out-of the aac of winning a championship ad mk has failed. His terrible moves don't outweigh how far back we have fallen since MK took over. Last year was the only year the team improved since he got here. His first year he was hired after a 7-6  and last season 7-6. The middle years are piles of loses and blowout losses. All if not forgiven for his failures just to get usf back to mediocrity.  He needs to be the man leading usf to a better conference and better results.  Ocs will be nice but it will.be worthless if we are playing  in the aac 5 years from now and if the we don't get better conference mates.

Talk about picking a scab… The CJS saga will forever be a black eye on MK’s legacy at USF. No doubt about that. Outside of the ongoing conference issue, he has been doing everything he can to get the program in a better place. Up to CAG and co to deliver on the football field.

However, without Will Weatherford and President Law, I think this program would be in dire straits. Getting alignment from the board down is the key difference these past few years. Leadership stepping up seemed to suggest that the loser mentality of the CJS era was done.

Joining a Frankenstein PAC Whatever would be a downgrade from the AAC. If USF is to leave for another conference, it must be the ACC or Big 10.
