You are missing that smu didn’t wait for a hope and defection they materialized one out of thin air, you also wrongly assume that this would be the one unique situation where VPMK doesn’t find his usf pitch on the losing end despite any and all evidence pointing to that’s all he is capable of accomplishing. Kelly wouldn’t kill every other aac team and all of their wives and children to insure our spot because he doesn’t recognize its life and death and we are dying, we need someone that singularly focused and driven. He just isn’t the right person in the right spot at the right time and hasn’t demonstrated he even understands what game is actually being played right now.

For the record, haven’t you been the one crowing about MK and his former connections getting us into the ACC?

Cant speak to the fundraising and donors but I can say that attendance, aside from this seasons increase - thanks Golesh, probably wouldn’t be a point you’d want to make if in favor of MK.

lol. Yeah. I don’t get it. Puc just basically snapped this week. He got triggered by something and I am wondering if he actually knows how the conference realignment is going to turn out. Last time i checked i thought this was all just speculation thus far. Nothing official yet unless im the one living under a rock lol. Feels like the sky is falling or something after seeing the negativity lol

Actually I have been sticking with my prediction that USF gets to the ACC after  FSU leaves. Never did I predict that USF would be invited before. I’m sticking with that as long as MK is still at USF:

I couldn't care less who the AD is as long as we are successful. Flavor Flave could be our Ad and if we are successfulI I would be happy

And like i said Kelly deserves credit for Golesh and Rahim and the OCS, and other things

but he deserves criticism for the additions of Charlotte, North Texas  and Rice

Time will tell if he is able to get us into another conference or not, and I will reserve judgment on that point

And in the mean time I will call a spade a spade.

 

Ad mk hire of Jeff Scott is half the season we are still in the aac. He made some good moves and the worst football move of all time. Until usf football is ranked again and in a peer conference then I will say ad mk is the guy. He has a lot losses on the field and watched teams.leave the aac for b12 then voted yes to bring in some of the worse additions possible.

I drew a line in the sand that this is the last time I’m going to care enough about getting left behind just before this, like I think the day before. As I stated I hope to be eating crow about how great of a job Mike Kelly did for the rest of our natural lives but when he inevitably fails (because that’s who he is) no one will be hearing a single I told you so from me. The aac is not fun for me and I’m not going to go from a jaded fan that I at least to find funny to a full on bitter and angry one (which I’m sure I’m straddling the line of). If people want to pretend garbage is great, sucky people are awesome and everything is going to change in 5 years I can’t begrudge them of that but I also can’t pretend along with them.

Yeah but didn’t USF use a search firm for those bad hires? It wasn’t until MK was allowed to exclude the search firms for the home run hires. Remember we must not forget those details.
