When you put it that way, okay yeah this commish is turrible let's join PAC NATION.

Also I agree with the comment about the terrible additions.  Should have gone for cool football brands over city size.

Not sure if you remember but the new AAC commish has recently been in Tampa to visit MK but I am not really sure what was really behind all of that. I see that he was meeting with Memphis this week so maybe he has been trying to convince the schools to stay

Please no 12:00 games.

1. That will be horrible for fans in the heat.
2. if we are against a west coast team, we won’t have any viewers.

I think most agree to this or some close variant. Sadly, I am afraid the offerings are probably far more limited for USF at this point in the near term.

It was a scheduled trip apparently.

Agreed, now fold in the likelihood of each: B1G isn’t happening, ACC and B12 are unlikely to happen. So there are our choices: PAC12 lifeboat, Independent gamble, or AAC dumpster fire.

New PAC12 will be a conference with 1-3 ranked teams every year.

not sure about the money, or GOR.

I would almost rather take less money than sign a GOR.

But Tulane, Memphis, USF to the PAC12 would effectively kill the AAC. And leave FAU behind.

Not sure about recruiting, but at least the PAC12 will have members with some brand recognition, even if not blue chips, football fans know the names. Basketball is alright too. Lots of tournament teams.

The Big10 could easily snap up USF, get a Florida foothold and give us pennies on the dollar.

We don’t have any GOR drama.

Every game would sellout since Florida is full of Big10 alum.

PAC-12 is beginning to feel like the former Big East Hail Mary - let’s hope if it is the case that the PAC gets patched back together it’s future follows a different path than the Big East coming apart at the seams leaving USF floating listless as it formerly did.  Good lord.
