No guarantees the pac8 would be any better payouts especially factoring in cross country travel for all sports. The AAC needed an aggressive commssioner like pac instead of the guy we currently have that wants a g5 playoff.  It isn't worth signing a GOR for long term unless there is more money involved. I hate be left behind in the AAC again and I would actually support going independent then staying in a aac without Memphis and Tulane. We have some three-headed alliance that is probably worthless and no actual real reports confirming they are leaving.

If they add 4 AAC schools you combine that with CSU and you only play Olympic sports among them. It solves the Olympic travel issue and makes it so football would only go past Colorado twice a year.

If the money is at least what we get in AAC and there isn’t a GOR, we would be stupid to stay in a depleted AAC with little chance at CFP because the PAC champion will be at least top 5

If a better deal comes up later, we pay exit fees and move then.

There is nothing wrong with USF, I still have faith in her. Now the people we have the misfortune of paying to fail us? Not so much.

At some point something has to give and continuing to be positive about someone that’s only demonstrated catastrophic failure isn’t going to help anything.

You are a Bucs fan, if Culverhouse still led the Bucs how many championships do they have now? There is only one thing that matters in this game and he continues to demonstrate he doesn’t even know what game is being played as everyone else gets the jump around him, it’s sad and everyone deep in their heart knows it’s exactly what’s going to happen every single time for eternity.

We can pretend he is being picky but this looks a lot more like an incel than someone holding out for better.D2RJvofO_400x400.jpg.26e29a042ad6ce279ad288189ae21f96.jpg

If you anyone thinks they aren’t moving, they are moving backwards. We need to make any move at all so as to get the stink of always being the passed over can finally clear the room. We are the only ones left and we need a slump buster just to get back on the horse.

Hell yeah! I just can’t see any AAC teams leaving for the PAC unless they are guaranteed tons more money and stability. I try to keep things simple with all the crazy realignment scenarios going on. So we pretty much got to see MWC schools leave for the PAC which makes more financial sense for them as the MWC tv contract basically sucks. AAC is at least getting exposure and will probably be bringing in AFA which is a good move imo

Or you have Olympic sports go on a 5-6 day road trip once a year out West and play 3 teams during that time span. And vice versa for teams out West going East. Most sports like volleyball, basketball you can easily play 3 games in a week.

Or have some games ( just a few) on a neutral court once a year.

There are tons of ways to alleviate travelling concerns

Sorry but he is wrong. Yes the PAC isn’t a P4 but it will be the 5th best and that’s important when the top 5 champions get into CFP. So no the PAC is not the WAC and it’s not like the teams joining are choosing between a P4 or the PAC.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
