It's the only way they can get in.

Are you sure they'd be in the top 112 at this point?

Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, SDSU, Memphis, Tulane, Colorado State, Fresno State,  Some other maybe USTA/Air Force?

As long as we play hardball with the GOR fine

Thamel just tweeted that the AAC has reached out to Air Force. Smart move if true.

This is the number one priority right now.  The AAC should help pay half of any exit fees to get them in the conference for the 25-26 season.

If the AAC loses Memphis and Tulane to the PAC-12, then USF should just go independent like UConn. Maybe get Uconn on the schedule every year too.

The AAC is stronger and higher earning than the PAC-12, which is just going end up similar to the MW conference but with Oregon State and Washington State included.

I don’t think Tulane, Memphis, or USF are going to sign a GOR or take less revenue. We’re all hoping for an ACC or Big12 invite.

Joining the PAC would be stupid.

The PAC-12 maybe lands Cal and Stanford in time, but those two are tied to the ACC GOR, and aren’t going to be thinking about moving until the FSU legal saga is over. Those two also have way better academics, and might stay in the ACC for that reason, which is mostly to 100 universities, while the PAC-12 certainly isn’t on that level academically.

I like to think the AAC already knows it's losing USF to the ACC, and this is the replacement move.

I mean, that's what I like to think. 🙂 I have no idea whether it has any basis in reality.

I like the conference. Like you said, it is more stable than the ACC. If we got an invite to B12, we should take it without hesitation. I prefer ACC, but B12 is great given what’s happened with realignment.

The acc is actually  more stable than a conference than b12 and has been around since 1953 and has not had any members leave this millennium outside Maryland (nothing burger and South Carolina in 1971.  Two football teams have left since 1971. The big12 lost their four best teams in the last decade five or take and have been backfilling with leftovers from.g5 and pac that the power 2 didn't want. Every b12 program that had power and results left Texas, mizzou, Oklahoma, and Tamu. No blue bloods have left the acc even though they are throwing tantrums on public to get out. The problem is fsu overrated their value and success to get called up to sec and b1g.  Neither.conference is desperate enough to.take them and deal with the drama and entitlement until the gor  is bought out and results improve.  The tantrum throwers are just causing drama and are the current joke of college football

Sue the acc, go 0-3 , and earns yourself a no from the sec. Fsu had their chance to prove they were sec and championship worthy and feel only 60 points shy . Instead  they have been whining and demanding more than what they bring to the table.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
