I don't believe that one bit. $$$ talks. Especially, when they are on the cusp of AAU status. Look at Nebraska lol.

Plenty of P4 coaches were poached last year.  What can you do?  Better to have your coach poached instead of fired.

Fair point Nebraska was AAU when they were invited. FSU never was AAU . FSU thought they were on the cusp of winning a natty and sued the ACC and College football committee and they are the first team to be 0-3 in college football this year. I don't see any conference like the B1G or SEC offering them a life line since their comissioners are on the college football playoff committee board.

I still think the Big Ten will eventually expand into Texas (probably A&M) and Florida (FSU first, if not them then Miami or us)

Moving Mountain west teams to the pac doesn’t make them more valuable. It doesn’t increase their strength of schedule. 
 

They are moving check chairs on the Titantic.
 

PAC12 brand isn’t worth much. It’s why nobody wanted Oregon State or Washington State. 
 

USF, Tulane, Memphis are not going to sign a GOR to join the dumbed down PAC-12.
