Joe Schad @schadjoe

Oklahoma AD Joe Castiglione on Sirius XM College: I don't believe realignment is over.

Now that's Dennis Dodds and Oklahoma's AD in the past few days saying they believe more changes are coming. This is an AD. Of a major program. Purely my opinion, but rumblings like this are usually indicative of something. They were in 2011, and again in 2012 and again this past round. Again, my opinion, but I believe action comes after this season.

Come on BULLS, prove you've got it this season. I'll take a bowl win but I'd like that conference championship...

Too bad we don't have a timeline. I don't expect anything until after the regular season ends.

From what I've read, they expect changes to happen for the 2014 season.  In order for that happen, at least some things need to be decided pretty soon.  I don't know if any conference realignment will happen before the end of the season, but we should hear more on the "new" division by then which could quickly lead to more conference shuffling.

UCF & USF fans have to love what the OU AD said on national radio today.

I have a hard time accepting BYU would be given a second chance by the Big 12, especially after BYU said no to the Big East as well.

And Texas started this last wave of realignment anyhow. The most revenue producing football program in college football is ruining it for everyone because they want MORE money.

Yup!

The two added schools will be USF & UCinn

If D4 leagues can offer 7 Big12 teams a home.. Well the league can disband without penalty. GOR or not

I'd rather see this happen, and the AAC get invited in its place.

I REALLY don't want to play in the B12. It's a crap conference with nothing in common with us and too far away.

That isn't going to happen.  Some AAC schools have a good chance to move up, but the AAC as a whole isn't moving up.

If and when the B12 moves to teams 11 and 12, then imo it's BYU and Cincy. We have to hope for 14 teams to have a shot.

BYU has shunned the B12 once before and also shunned the Big East. I doubt the B12 is going to be accepting them again. Cincy I can see, but not BYU.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
