I like that this looks like a simultaneous direct quote from Cal and Standford.

I wasn't clear. Of course they're looking because they need at least 2 more. My point was no Twitter rumor mongers have a real clue who is seriously being looked at. Case in point, none of those clowns had anything, that I saw, that immediately preceded this PAC news breaking. Now, there's all kind of teams being thrown against the wall, including us.

I guess i dont see it as far fetched. Who else would they rather have?  I think if Memphis and Tulane go, we need to be with them.

I thought the same. And then I thought how excited they both must be to play Fresno State, Colorado State, Boise State and San Diego State.  That’s worth leaving the ACC.

I am just pulling this straight out my a$$ and is just pure conjecture on my part.

Doubtful they stay at 8 as is required to form a conference. My guess the four added were the ones they really want and they now will assess who else wants in aka AAC teams like Tulane, UTSA, Memphis, and USF. Whether these schools would join the Pac at this point is an open question, but these are the teams they would want. Also they will assess whether they can add the service academies as a trio.

At which point they will also add UNLV

The question is are we and Tulane too far East. If so they could be looking at Tulsa, Nevada, Texas State, Rice.

If they decide that they want to create  a national conference, and the AAC teams bite they might also look at ECU, or whoever is the flavor of the month in the East

The pac2 comissioner should invite Colorado and FSU now.

Saw some FSU fans with bags over their heads today. Would we take them in the AAC when they get relegated at the end of the year?

The end part was interesting regarding the ACC. At first I dismissed it since the ACC left overs would want want to be in the Big 12 over the PAC, but something to consider is the Big 12 might want Louisville, Pitt, Georgia Tech, but not Wake Forrest, Boston College and a few others. The Pac might wait the situation out and than offer those remaining ACC teams the Big 12 doesn't want.

This is going to be like Bachelorette, Big Brother, and Survivor. We will have to bring out the claws and scratch our way in.

Add Fear Factor and the Ted Bundy documentary and I agree.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
